| Temtris are a female fronted heavy metal band from Australia formed in 1999 releasing their debut album 'Threshold' in 2003. Two further albums followed - 2007's 'Masquerade', and 2014's 'Shallow Grave', with the bands fourth album, 'Enter The Asylum' emerging in 2016. The band released 'Run' in 2018 as the first single off their fifth album 'Rapture', released later the same year. The single 'Forever', was released in 2020... | ||||||
| ...and under a year later, the Australian queen of metal and her crew are back with a new single 'Ritual Warfare' - serving up a succulent appetiser for the bands sixth album (also titled) 'Ritual Warfare', due for release later this month. The new single is a scorching hot seven minutes plus majestic march of traditional heavy metal blended with the aggressive heaviness of thrash. | ||||||
| 'Ritual Warfare' pulsates with a menacing rhythm that is gonna knock you for six - and most likely knock your head right off its shoulders! Lead singer Genevieve, is on top form, her soaring vocals across the chorus breaks is stunning - and that scream from fifty seconds onwards is just sensational... | ||||||
| ...with the Temtris crew also firing on all cylinders. The melodies, the harmonies, the riffs - all ablaze with outstanding musicianship. If you've never heard of Temtris before now - where the fucking hell have you been! Temtris have been around for twenty years, and are about to release their sixth album. And for me, the band should be headlining shows all over the world, and gracing the stage at many of the biggest festivals around.
