Forever

(single)

Temtris are a female fronted heavy metal band from Australia formed in 1999 releasing their debut album 'Threshold' in 2003. Two further albums followed, 'Masquerade' in 2007 and 'Shallow Grave' in 2014, with their fourth album, 'Enter The Asylum' emerging in 2016. The band released 'Run' in 2018 as the first single off their fifth album 'Rapture', released later the same year.

Australian heavy metal sensation Temtris are back - and back with the biggest bang since, well err, the big bang! Temtris boast the classic five member line-up, delivering a traditional twin guitar attack, galloping rhythms and a "foot on the monitor" attitude. The band are fronted by the Australian queen of metal Genevieve Rodda - and boy is she sounding better than ever. Screams and soaring vocals abound as Temtris launch their latest single 'Forever'...

...a ferocious ripper, a barn storming metal anthem that sizzles with energy, oomph and bombast. 'Forever' is fast paced, mildly aggressive and highly melodic - if you've never heard Temtris before, you're in for one helluva surprise. Just imagine the best of British Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, meeting the best of German power metal Helloween and Rage, and you'll get some idea of just how fucking great Temtris are. The band have been in existence for over twenty years, very well known in their own country, and deserve to be just as well known on the world stage. Their latest album, 2018's 'Rapture', is a perfect mix of aggression and passion...

...and that perfect mix has now been doubled by Temtris. The theme of 'Forever' is resurrection and immortality, the artwork featuring the symbol of the Egyptian Scarab beetle, representing resurrection and immortality. Temtris have an undeniable passion for doing things their own way, and an unrelenting desire that drives them on - and in the shape of the formidable 'Forever', Temtris have just changed their status from a very good band to a great band.

Overall, a passion fuelled and furious gallop of all out traditional heavy metal, 'Forever' is sensational.
