| Control The Storm are a female fronted melodic heavy metal band from the UK formed in 2010, releasing their self titled debut E.P. the same year. A change of guitarist in 2012, a change of drummer in 2014 and now a new vocalist, Control The Storm are back with 'Stronger', the debut single off their forthcoming album. | ||||||
| A trait of Control The Storm are the keyboard intros to some of their songs and 'Stronger' is no different. However, this intro heralds a new chapter in the bands history as it is the debut release featuring their new vocalist. | ||||||
| And what a debut it is. 'Stronger' is a power ballad that threatens to break out into a mid tempo rock stomp. The new vocalist has a very powerful voice, the melodies and harmonies throughout are a pleasure to listen to, and as the song shifts from ballad to rock, there is some superb keyboard and guitar work. 'Stronger' gets stronger as the song progresses, building to a crescendo with a cracking guitar solo. | ||||||
| Overall, a brilliant introduction to the new vocalist, whetting the appetite of fans everywhere in anticipation of the debut album. | ||||||
