Diamonds & Pearls

(single)

Running Wild are a heavy/power metal band from Germany forming in 1979 releasing seventeen studio albums over a thirty five year plus career. Spearheaded by founder (and only original member) Rock 'N' Rolf Kasparek, Running Wild continue to pummel metal fans with their blend of heavy come power metal.

The bands '84 debut album 'Gates To Purgatory' was stacked full of infectious and galloping heavy metal, earning them the description of "Germany's answer to Iron Maiden". Over the years Running Wild have toured all over the world, played at major festivals in numerous countries, and are now preparing to release their eighteenth studio album...

...by releasing the first single 'Diamonds & Pearls'. The sound of Running Wild has always been instantly recognisable, with 'Diamonds & Pearls' harking back to the bands early days, circa '89 and their 'Death Or Glory' era. Infectious, melodic, and "foot on the monitor", 'Diamonds & Pearls' is a mouth watering teaser for the new album...

...'Blood On Blood', which is due for release in October, and according to Rock 'N' Rolf "is probably the best album in Running Wild's career to date" - a career that is fast approaching forty years! So mark your calendars for October 29th, when the next chapter of the German metal legends will be unleashed.

Overall, a high paced and highly melodic gallop of old school, traditional heavy metal, 'Diamonds & Pearls' is classic sounding Running Wild.
