Lady Snow |

Omery Rising are a traditional heavy metal band from the USA, formed in 2007 releasing their self titled debut E.P. in 2013.
Emerging with their E.P. and the promise to "bring back the sound of traditional heavy metal", Omery Rising did just that with the five "foot on the monitor" songs on offer.
The band however, were not entirely happy with the production on the E.P. and for their new single 'Lady Snow' (emerging in 2014) decided to enlist the help of Ralph Patlan (who has worked with the likes of Megadeth, White Wizzard and Michael Schenker). And this was not the only change - with completion done with regards to the instruments, there was a musical disagreement between the band and the singer, the two parties parting ways! Founding member Michael McClanahan contacted an old friend, (former White Wizzard) singer Joseph Michael, and asked if he would sing on the new single.
The answer was yes, and the result is a thunderous, old school metal romp - from the meandering guitar intro, to the anthemic Manowar-esque stomp, 'Lady Snow' is a definite progression from the bands debut E.P. Featuring great guitar hooks and solos, Joseph Michael's vocals are powerful and definitely suit the heavier sound, the six minute single is infectious and memorable for all the right reasons.
Overall, a heavier sound, great sounding guitars and a powerful vocal performance. Omery Rising are back and sounding better then ever.
