Omery Rising are a traditional heavy metal band from the USA, founded in 2007 by bass guitarist Michael McClanahan.

Omery Rising came to prominence in 2013 with the release of their self titled debut E.P. with the promise of "bringing back the sound of traditional heavy metal to the people". The five song E.P. was well received and also delivered their promise.

The band however, were not entirely happy with the production on the E.P. and for their new single decided to enlist the help of Ralph Patlan (who has worked with the likes of Megadeth, White Wizzard and Michael Schenker). And this was not the only change. With completion done with regards to the instruments, there was a musical difference disagreement between the band and the singer and they parted ways. Founding member Michael McClanahan contacted an old friend, (former White Wizzard) singer Joseph Michael, and asked if he would guest on the new single.

The answer was yes and the result is a thunderous, old school metal romp. From the meandering guitar intro, to the anthemic Manowar-esque stomp, 'Lady Snow' is a definite progression from their debut release. Joseph Michael's vocals are powerful and definitely suit the heavier sound. Great guitar hooks, solos and a number of time changes make this six minute single memorable for all the right reasons.

Overall, a heavier sound, great sounding guitars and a powerful vocal performance. Omery Rising are back and sounding better then ever.
