Hypnotise E.P.

Voodoo Vegas are a hard rock band from the UK formed in 2006, releasing their debut album in 2013 and are set to unleash their new E.P. in the autumn of 2015.

Voodoo Vegas remind me of the good old days of sleaze rock with bands like Guns 'N' Roses, Faster Pussycat and Ratt. However, Voodoo Vegas do differ, as they have a more bluesy feel and a more down and dirty bar room style. 'Hypnotise' is an energetic and bombastic blast of huge guitar grooves, a gravel edged vocal performance and a very catchy chorus. The more up tempo 'Tied Up' is sleaze rock at its very best. Rough and dirty, it is a foot stomper off the top shelf. Infectious and catchy, it will spread happiness to anyone that listens.

'Round & Round' follows the same path as the previous song, full of energy and passion with a superb guitar groove and a catchy rhythm so infectious you will be foot tapping and head nodding without realising it. With an energy kick not even caffeine can give, Voodoo Vegas are a blast of fresh air that will have you grinning like a lunatic. Ending the E.P. is the guitar heavy 'Killing Joke' all dark and moody grooves that just ooze sleaze.

Overall, heavy guitar grooves, gravel edged vocals and head noddingly addictive songs, Voodoo Vegas are proof that sleaze rock still lives.
