Bury The Bitch E.P.

Twisted State Of Mind are a hard rock band from the UK formed in 2011, releasing two E.P.'s to date - 'Rise' (2012) and 'Bury The Bitch' (2013).

Having only released the bands debut E.P. a year ago, Twisted State Of Mind quickly return to the studio for their second 'Bury The Bitch' - the E.P. opening with the title song 'Bury The Bitch'. Taking no prisoners, the band are straight into their stride, remaining at the heavier end of the hard rock genre, providing musical variety throughout to a fanbase that's growing by the minute! And growing considerably too, the young outfit making a huge impact, regularly performing live, attracting bigger and bigger crowds.

Any modern day hard rock release normally comes with a ballad, Twisted State Of Mind not willing to buck that trend, showing a shit tonne of maturity and bravery with 'Reflections'. A definite shift in sound for the band, feel free to raise your lighters high in the air and sway from side to side as 'Reflections' strolls on to a conclusion.

Third and final song on the E.P. 'I Will Be Gone', sees - or rather hears - the band land firmly and squarely in heavy metal territory! Yes readers, heavy fucking metal! Twisted State Of Mind are fairly ferocious here, storming on with incredible pace and power, offering one hell of a catchy chorus that's surely gonna go down a storm in a live setting! However, the death metal snarling growled vocals mid song just doesn't sound right - the cleaner, powerful vocals heard on the E.P.'s other two songs (and the bands previous E.P.) is what the singer is best at.

Overall, progression and maturity from their debut E.P. is evident. Well written, well structured and well played songs, reinforcing their growing 'band of the future' reputation.
