Inside The Sickened Mind |

Thrasherwolf are a thrash metal band from the UK formed in 2016, releasing their debut E.P. 'Blood Moon' in 2018, debut album 'We Are Revolution' in 2020, and sophomore album 'Inside The Sickened Mind' in 2024...
...featuring eight new songs across a blistering forty five minutes! The band are more aggressive this time around, the brand of thrash on offer aimed directly at fans of Slayer, Kreator and Metallica - the levels of brutality and head bang ability turned way up higher than ever before! So brace yourselves readers, methinks 'Inside The Sickened Mind' is gonna be one hell of a fiery blast - 'Final Act Of Aggression' actually the first act of aggression, surging outta the blocks at high velocity! Thrasherwolf are immediately into their stride here, bludgeoning listeners with a brutal barrage of adrenaline pumping thrash, moshers and metalheads everywhere raising clenched fists high in the air to salute a barnstorming opening salvo! The widely recognised meaning of "GBH" is "grievous bodily harm", the British thrash metal machine interpreting it differently with 'GBH (Gratuitous Bodily Harm)' - and to be honest, either meaning will do as Thrasherwolf maintain the albums red hot scorching start! Albeit by dropping a gear to ooze a traditional metal feel too, 'GBH (Gratuitous Bodily Harm)' appealing equally to metallers as well as thrashers.
A stunning brace to begin with, Thrasherwolf make it a treble with the even faster paced 'Hanging House', the levels of aggression and ferocity rising straight through the fucking roof - the sound and menacing mentality of thrash metals Big 4 (Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer) and Teutonic Four (Kreator, Sodom, Destruction and Tankard) pouring profusely from 'Hanging House'. And with the albums uncompromising level of intensity still very much in force, 'Inside The Sickened Mind' marches on with the ground shuddering stomper 'Scream Till Death'. Proceeding to become a bustling firestorm of ferocity after just thirty six seconds, 'Scream Till Death' resumes the blistering speed of the album so far, the band delivering a gear changing tempo changing tornado of thrash metal mayhem! And with absolutely no let up in pace or power, 'Shameless Loser' screams into life and roars off at high speed, the band flying faster than a jet fighter flies off to war! And with just as much explosive weaponry on board too, Thrasherwolf setting off an incredible number of incendiary devices with their bruising barrage of brutal thrash metal!
A bruising barrage that's as ferocious as a hungry wild tiger chasing down its prey, Thrasherwolf devouring the airways with consummate ease - 'Consumed' taking front and centre with the mighty foot stomping style of thrash metal. The in your face attitude here is matched by the bands blunter delivery, 'Consumed' the most abrasive, harshest and brashest song heard so far - the band roaring through the gears after two minutes to resume the blinding speed heard across the albums opening brace! Just what the hell have Thrasherwolf been eating (and drinking) for the last two years to give 'em so much energy and drive? God only knows, but it's done them the power of good, 'Inside The Sickened Mind' a belter of an album that takes a little breather by way of the most mellow song on offer 'Haunted'. And when I say mellow, I don't mean a hymn-like stroll or even balladry, 'Haunted' is more like a menacing tip-toe through a dense forest at night with sharp chills running through all two hundred and six bones in your body! Bringing the album to a close is the title song 'Inside The Sickened Mind', clocking in at seven and a half minutes in length to become the longest song on offer! And what a song! Featuring everything the band have in their locker, 'Inside The Sickened Mind' (the song) mixes pace and power with brutality and menace to deliver a finale that's gonna send every mosh pit around the world into fucking overdrive!
Overall, a crushing blend of ferocious head bang ability, speed and aggression, 'Into The Sickened Mind' is a fierce barrage of thrash.
