All In Time

Stone Broken are a melodic hard rock band from the UK formed in 2013 with their debut release, 'The Crow Flies' E.P. released in 2014. Their first full length album, 'All In Time' was released in 2016.

Hard hitting and hard rocking, the debut album from Stone Broken opens in storming fashion with the bombastic blast of 'Know Your Enemy'. Foot stomping its authority over the airwaves, 'Know Your Enemy' is up tempo hard rock at its very best. Clean, clear vocals, a thumping rhythm and an air of infectiousness, this is a cracking way to open an album. Picking up the tempo and rocking harder 'Better' will also get your fists in the air as well as mild head banging. A very catchy, sing a long style chorus and 'Better' literally has got the album getting better. A dramatic slow down of pace sees 'Be There' roll in and swagger off in a slow and heavy foot stomp. The vocal delivery is a mild mix of raspy, throaty and gravelly, yet so very clear. 'Be There' is no where near a power ballad, just because there is too much power.

A buzzing guitar chug breathes life into 'Let Me Go' as the earlier up tempo foot stomping pace returns. The chorus is one of the most catchy and sing a long I have heard in a long time and believe me when I say you will be singing along too, way before the song ends. Now it's time to get your lighters in the air and swing form side to side as 'Wait For Me' sidles in and wanders away. 'Wait For Me' is superbly sung, with just the right amount of passion to make it really tug at the heart strings and make you feel all emotional. 'Save Tomorrow' drops the pace and sets a lower, darker, more moody tone as it opens and then builds into a crushing, melodic hard rocking romp. Swinging from crushing to crescendo building 'Save Tomorrow' is a hard rock swagger that strolls on with 'This Life' more of the same. A bit more lighter on the mood, 'This Life' is a very good foot stomp of hard rock. Lyrically and theme maintaining, all the songs seem to carry emotion and love, leaning towards all those special moments in life.

'Another Day' is a ballad of the top order, with acoustic guitars and soulful vocals breaking into more of a power ballad as it progresses. Foot tapping and head noddingly addictive 'Another Day' is well sung and has just the right amount of passion to pull gently at those heart strings. With brash, chainsaw style guitar riffing 'Fall Back Down' rustles and bristles with attitude and a very powerful vocal delivery. Feet will be tapping, heads will be nodding and you will be singing along too as the sheer infectious nature of 'Fall Back Down' grips you tightly. Bringing the album to a close is the barnstorming 'Stay All Night'. With a pulsating rhythm 'Stay All Night' is up tempo, bombastic and addictive. It is one of those songs that will put a big smile on your face and have you thrashing around like a lunatic.

Overall, hard rocking melodic hard rock played with passion and emotion, there is plenty on offer here to please and tease everyone.
