XXV: Live At Bloodstock

Solitary are a thrash metal band from the UK formed in 1994, and have released four full length studio albums to date - 'Nothing Changes' (1998), 'Requiem' (2008), 'The Diseased Heart Of Society' (2017) and 'The Truth Behind The Lies' (2020). The band released their first live album 'I Promise To Thrash Forever' in 2014, as a celebration of the bands twentieth anniversary.

And to celebrate their jubilee anniversary (twenty five years) Solitary released the E.P. 'XXV' - containing three re-recorded versions of songs from throughout their career, along with two songs recorded live. The E.P. was released just days before Solitary's appearance at the legendary Bloodstock Open Air festival in the UK - and in 2022, fans will be able to relive the bands blistering performance with the release of the 'XXV: Live At Bloodstock' CD and DVD package...

...featuring the bands complete Bloodstock set, the package boasting a host of extras - the CD contains the three re-recorded songs that appeared on the 2019 E.P. with the DVD featuring a pre-show interview with the bands lead singer Rich Sherrington, and all eight of Solitary's promo videos to date.

Solitary are well known for their ferociously fast paced, aggression fuelled and savage, bone snapping, neck breaking thrash metal - with their performance at Bloodstock delivering all of the above. The band hit the stage to the strains of the instrumental 'Blackened Skies', proceeding to explode into life with raging aggression courtesy of 'Trigger Point Atrocity'. And from there, Solitary never look back - delivering a breathless barrage of skull crushing thrash, tearing through 'Keep Your Enemies Closer' and 'The Edge Of Violence' with a sky high level of brutality.

'Architects Of Shame' is a thunderous torrent of savagery, 'The Diseased Heart Of Society' crashes in with the weight of a thousand wrecking balls, with the band hitting the accelerator extremely hard to deliver 'Unidentified' at a pace that is gonna stretch your neck muscles to breaking point - and beyond! The band wrap up their set with the rapid fire riff rampage 'Requiem', the savage riffs lacerating the sky! A performance not to have been missed, Solitary deliver on their promise to "thrash forever". But if you did miss it - now's your chance to see and hear the bands blistering Bloodstock battering. So what are you waiting for, go get your copy - NOW!

Overall, 'XXV: Live' captures Solitary at their most brutally savage, delivering an aggression fuelled and ferocious barrage of thrash metal.
