| Metaprism are a dual fronted heavy metal band from the UK formed in 2012 who have just released their first single, with their debut album due for release in September 2015. | ||||||
| Imagine combinations such as Mars Bar and jam sandwiches, pasta with sugar, spaghetti topped with M & M's and pepperoni and peanut butter sandwiches...and you have some of the strangest combinations you can imagine, but they work and many people love them and enjoy them on a regular basis. The same can be said about Metaprism - a dual fronted heavy metal band. Dual fronted by two vocalists, the sultry rock voice of Theresa Smith with her clean and powerful delivery, and the death metal growl of Jut Tabor with his aggressive, in your face style. | ||||||
| Strange as this combination sounds, it works extremely well. The music itself is very heavy, with twin guitars that chug relentlessly, a backline that is solid and thunderous, and enough melodic presence that it actually suits both vocal styles. With performances at both 2015's Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock festivals, Metaprism are a band on the rise and definitely one to look out for. | ||||||
| Overall, a hard hitting, very heavy style of music with two very different vocal styles, this is an intriguing and pleasurable listening experience. | ||||||
