Kaine are a heavy metal band from the UK formed in 2009, releasing their debut album 'Falling Through Freedom' in 2012 and the live album, 'Rock The Castle' in 2013, Kaine have just released 'Iron Lady, the first single from the bands upcoming new album 'The Waystone' - due for release later this year.
Kaine are just one of a number bands that over the last few years have brought back the classic NWOBHM sound to heavy metal. Their live album 'Rock The Castle' is proof that good old British metal is alive and doing very well.
Thirty years ago Iron Maiden redefined heavy metal with the release of 'Powerslave' (1984), and with 'Iron Lady', Kaine have managed to recreate a similar sound, feel and buzz that was around at that time.
The guitar driven opening is classic twin guitar attack, the pounding rhythm smacks of British heavy metal, the vocals are clean and powerful and the guitar solos are a sparkling romp. A catchy sing a long chorus and a foot tapping stomp will put a smile on the face of heavy metal fans all over the world.
Will Kaine have a long and distinguished career like Iron Maiden? Only time will tell, but with 'Iron Lady' breathing fire into the resurgence of the NWOBHM sound, the new album is definitely one to watch out for. Due for release in August, be sure to mark that month on your calendars - it'll be worth it.
Overall, Kaine have recreated the feel and buzz of the NWOBHM with a blistering slab of classic heavy metal.
