| Desert are a dark, epic metal band from Israel, formed in 2002 and releasing their debut album in 2010. Their second album is almost ready and 'Assassin's fate' has just been released as a single. | ||||||
| Heavily influenced by European power metal bands, such as legends Grave Digger, Rage and HammerFall, with a hint of the epic, made famous by the almighty Manowar, Desert have built a reputation for delivering powerful, dark and epic metal. Touring extensively in support of their debut album, they played many festivals across Europe and even shared the stage with the likes of Helloween, Kreator, Sabaton and Grave Digger. | ||||||
| Now, with the release of their second album, Desert are looking to build their reputation further and have released a new single 'Assassin's Fate'. Opening with the traditional European power metal sound: gung-ho, thunderous and bombastic drums and blazing guitars, 'Assassin's Fate' is an epic masterpiece full of atmosphere and mood yet it is also foot tappingly catchy. The vocals match the mood of the song brilliantly and at times make the song sound chilling and spooky. | ||||||
| Overall, a superb single that will have fans flocking to buy the upcoming album, lining up to see them live and heads nodding everywhere in appreciation. | ||||||
