CobraKill |

CobraKill are a heavy metal & hard rock band from Germany formed in 2020, releasing their self titled demo later that same year.
Influenced by the sleaze metal and rock evolution of the late eighties and early nineties, CobraKill come storming out of Germany with their debut release - the three song demo 'CobraKill'. Creating a sound that takes all the great elements from iconic bands such as Motley Crue, WASP, Alice Cooper and Kiss, CobraKill (in their own words) have "hairspray, make-up, leather and rivets" - and I for one am not gonna disagree.
The first of the three songs on offer 'Arena Of Sin', is an energetic "foot on the monitor" gallop. Full of pace and power, 'Arena Of Sin' is a meld of WASP and Motley Crue, a gathering of metal and rock just like the old days. 'CobraKill' is a heavier hitter than 'Arena Of Sin', bringing a touch of seventies Kiss into the mix. CobraKill are blending metal and rock nuances associated with the styles of sleaze and glam very well.
At just eleven minutes in length, and with only three songs on offer, CobraKill have had to make an immediate and head turning impact - and I reckon they've got it just right. If you're into the whole seventies/eighties glam, eighties/nineties sleaze, then this demo is right up your street. Bringing their debut effort to a close is the more melodic 'Amber Eyes', a hard rocking mid tempo and very upbeat romp. And dare I say it, just a little dash of classic AOR too!
Overall, a heavy hitting three song assault of old school glam/sleaze metal and rock, CobraKill have impressed with their debut release.
