See U Nxt Tuezday

(single)

Celestial Ruin are a symphonic hard rock band from Canada formed in 2011 releasing their debut album 'The Awakening' in 2012. Delivering a sound that sits somewhere between Kamelot, Nightwish and Epica, Celestial Ruin built a loyal following over the next coupe of years, releasing the six song E.P. 'Pandora' in 2016.

In 2019, the band realised a new single 'Heart Shaped Ashes', and have followed it up three years later with a second single, the barn storming 'See U Nxt Tuezday'. I say barn storming, but a raging blitz of fire and brimstone may be a much more accurate description.

'See U Nxt Tuezday' is immediately into its stride, the band firing on all cylinders, pulling out all the stops to deliver a crushing, high energy gallop that is both thrilling and exhilarating.

Celestial Ruin have moved forward with their sound since I reviewed their 'Pandora' E.P. five years ago - a much harder and faster sound, propelling them into the heavy metal arena.

Overall, 'See U Nxt Tuezday' is a colossal thunderclap of electrifying energy, full of pace, power, and aggression.
