The One Who Knows My Name

(single)

Carbon Black are a groove/thrash metal band from Australia formed in 2013, releasing their E.P. 'Principium' in 2014. The bands first full length effort, 'End Of This' was released in 2018, with a new single 'The One Who Knows My Name' released in 2020.

Australia's attitude laden groove metallers Carbon Black return to the metal scene with a scorching new single 'The One Who Knows My Name', accompanied by a second song 'Mourn'. The two song single release is a teaser for the bands second album - tentative release date at the end of the year.

'The One Who Knows My Name' sees Carbon Black as groovy, thrashy and growly as ever, pounding the senses with an infectious hard rocking rhythm, and jack hammer style riffing to get your heads nodding hard.

Second song 'Mourn', is eight years old, and was one of the first songs ever written by the band - and is still a feature of their live set. The band decided the time was right to re-record 'Mourn', adding new energy to an already energetic song.

Overall, a scorching release, 'The One Who Knows My Name' is a bludgeoning slab of metal, whetting your appetite for the bands forthcoming album.
