Chaos Of War |

Black Denim Rage are a speed metal band from the USA formed in 2019 who've released two albums to date - 'State Of Emergency' (2023) and 'Chaos Of War' (2024).
Blending their speed metal roots with the aggressive intensity of thrash, Black Denim Rage are ready to set the world alight with the bands high octane sophomore album 'Chaos Of War', featuring eight songs across a blistering forty two minutes! Opening with the title song 'Chaos Of War', the band are quickly into their stride blazing a fiery trail across the land to leave only smoke and desolation in their wake! The pace, power and purpose is phenomenal, the energy level rising off the fucking charts as 'Chaos Of War' (the song) hurtles on, Black Denim Rage setting their stall out early - 'Street Metal Violence' maintaining the devastating speed metal onslaught! And although the band are full of American muscle, there's plenty of British grit on show too, Black Denim Rage taking on board the sound and feel of bands such as (early) Venom and Angel Witch - 'Street Metal Violence' roaring louder than a massive thunderstorm, violently banging the head back and forth of every single listener!
There's just no escaping the bands sizzling power and purpose, 'A Shredder's Dream' accelerating instantly to in excess of a hundred miles an hour, Black Denim Rage outrunning even the fastest of cruisers the local traffic police have at their disposal! I tell ya readers, 'A Shredder's Dream' is unstoppable, so stand in front of the band at your peril - I for one am not going to, as I don't fancy getting slaughtered! And slaughtered is exactly what 'Chaos Of War' (the album) has done to the airways, the album gaining even more momentum and speed courtesy of 'Executor's Reign' - the bands blistering sonic attack a mesmerising mix of speed, thrash and traditional heavy metal! I haven't a clue what's feeding the American outfit's electrifying charge, but I hope it's an unlimited supply as the album has only just past the halfway mark - 'Troops Of Hate' entering the fray with a more hustle and bustle feel than heard so far, the scorching speed remaining at full throttle! And if you're looking for a fast paced, adrenaline pumping album to head bang frantically to, you ain't gonna go far wrong with this one - it's ferocity unleashed!
And as we enter the (albums) final third, there's absolutely no sign of the band - or album - slowing down, 'Selected To Die' bursting forth with an anthemic thunder not heard previously - for all of the first minute or so anyway! And then the band press down hard on the accelerator to rocket off with just as much explosive energy as every other song on offer - Black Denim Rage carving out a reputation for delivering all out speed metal with tremendous power and purpose. And by stark contrast to everything that's roared by so far, 'Hero's Journey' drops a couple of gears to assume a mid tempo, fairly haunting atmosphere as the band spend the first couple of minutes building tension until all hell breaks loose when 'Hero's Journey' resumes the all out speed metal attack - an attack which is brought to an end with 'Legacy', the band maintaining pace, power and purpose all the way from minute one to minute forty eight! And 'Legacy' also boasts more traditional metal flavour than any other song on 'Chaos Of War' (the album), every metal traditionalist, thrasher and speed metaller on the planet uniting as one to celebrate a belter of an album.
Overall, an incredibly fast paced forty eight minutes of blistering speed metal with phenomenal head bang ability.
