Rebirthless

Accuser are a thrash metal band from Germany formed in 1986, releasing thirteen studio albums across a lengthy four decade career. Revered as legends in the thrash metal community, Accuser deliver aggressive and in your face thrash - just two of the iconic characteristics of Teutonic thrash metal! The bands thirteenth and most recent release 'Rebirthless' - released in 2024 - is a no holds barred, no punches pulled avalanche of aggression and head bang ability...

...featuring nine songs in just thirty eight red hot minutes! And setting light to the touch paper, 'Violent Vanity' explodes into life with immense speed and aggression - not to mention sky high head bang ability! Accuser are so quick into their stride here, pummelling listeners with a brutal barrage of savage thrash, exactly what the band are renowned for! Methinks this is gonna be a non-stop rollercoaster of raw energy as 'Rebirthless' motors on with increased menace courtesy of 'Ghost Of Disease' - the electrifying pace of the opening salvo carried forward! A blistering opening brace to launch your new album, becomes a blistering treble with the ferocity fuelled title song 'Rebirthless' - the already sky high level of head bang ability rising even higher! Higher than the sky I hear you cry! Hell yes - all the way to outer fucking space!

The speed of the albums first three songs has been phenomenal, Accuser dropping a couple of gears in favour of a mid tempo foot stomp, 'Painted Cruelty' shuddering the ground with immense force, the band destroying everything and everyone standing in their way! The band are unforgiving here, anyone foolish enough to be in the bands path are gonna get crushed, Accuser reinforcing just one of their tags as a highly brutal thrash metal band - 'Faded Remorse' returning blistering speed to the fore! The acceleration is incredible, 'Faded Remorse' becoming the fastest song heard so far, the neck muscles of every listener from here to Germany and back stretching further than is surely humanly possible in an attempt to keep their heads rocking back and forth at the same pace as the band! Good luck with that then! 'When Desperation Scorns' brings a rougher, tougher and gruffer style of thrash to 'Rebirthless' (the album), Accuser battering everyone with a bone breaking barrage of razor sharp riffs and devastating drumming!

And with no sign of the brutality or aggression disappearing anytime soon, the band roar on with the fierce 'Fear Denied' - the speed out of this world as Accuser set a new land speed record! 'Fear Denied' is the new fastest song on offer, the worldwide mosh pits turning frantic as every single mosher in the pit violently bangs their head! I'm telling ya readers, if you ain't a diehard mosher, stay away from the pit - it's gonna be barbaric! And bringing an air of traditional heavy metal to the fore, 'Spiritual Recipients' dips a toe over the border wall into old school metal territory, the band attracting metallers into the bands soundscape with this one - Accuser's legions of hard thrashing fans and followers welcoming all newcomers with open arms and a fist bump! 'Rebirthless' ends with the longest song on offer, 'Damned By The Flood' the only one out of the nine on the album to exceed five minutes in length - and sees, or rather hears Accuser introduce a groove metal feel to their thrash metal roots, the albums final hurrah maintaining the underlying brutality, aggression and menace that's run right through the heart of the album from start to finish.

Overall, a blistering, ferocity fuelled nine song barrage of aggression and brutality, 'Rebirthless' is head bang-able to the fucking max!
