Nasty Habits E.P. |
||||||
Tequila Sunrise are a hard rock band from Spain formed in 2010 who released their debut E.P. in 2015.
Opening with the hard hitting 'Face The Truth', Tequila Sunrise have a sound not too dissimilar to some of the great sleaze rock bands of the late eighties/early nineties such as Skid Row, Faster Pussycat and Ratt. Huge guitar riffing, pounding drums and strong vocals 'Face The Truth' is in your face, foot stomping, heavy rock at its finest. The guitar driven, title song 'Nasty Habits' is a blast of heavy rock with a superb guitar buzz and an anthemic style chorus. Intense and lively, this is energetic and bombastic hard rock.
Sounding more like the European hard rock band Tequila Sunrise are, 'Too Late' is lighter and so infectious you may catch something...an intense desire for more, much much more! It is such a shame that there is only four songs on offer here as Tequila Sunrise are a breath of fresh air in the rock arena and I'm positive that their is so much more to come from them. But until then, the party rock anthem 'There Are No Heroes' brings this E.P. to a close in a breeze of blazing guitars and rampant rhythms that will leave you breathless and so impatient to spin the disc again, and again and again.
Overall, hard hitting, in your face hard rock that is infectious and fresh. Four songs that breathe new life into the hard rock genre with the promise of so much more.
