Sin Destino

Stillnes are a thrash metal band from Spain formed in 2004. The band released their debut album in 2011 with the follow-up 'Sin Destino', in 2015.

Opening with a eerie, almost haunting 'Introduccion' that leads into 'Sin Destino'. Stillnes are very quickly into their stride. Singing in their native language 'Sin Destino' is quick paced, thunderous and a head bangers dream. Rattling like a machine gun it is infectious and very heavy. 'Obsesivo' maintains the blistering pace, the head banging rhythms and guitars that simply chop and chug relentlessly. Picking up pace, if that's at all possible, is 'Entre Ruinas'. The song has an infectious guitar rhythm and a pulsating backline that will have the mosh pit in a frenzy. A short acoustic guitar intro and 'Divino Infierno' chugs into life at a slower pace, the heavy guitars pounding away at the senses with a brutality not heard before.

With the album just getting better and better, guitar solos that scream and wander, vocals that rasp and rage, 'Guerra Pacifica' flies in like a rocket and explodes in a fiery rage. Powerful vocals hinting at growling, jack hammer style drumming and a superb backing vocal during the chorus 'Guerra Pacifica' will have you smiling in delight. Bold and brave is 'Esperanza' - an instrumental that clocks in at over seven minutes, giving the band an opportunity to display their musical prowess. 'Esperanza' meanders and wanders its way effortlessly and will keep the listener hooked, right to the very last chord. 'Pesadilla Nuclear' returns the albums sound back to how it started, with infectious thrash metal that makes your head bang, seemingly involuntarily. Closing a great album is the high energy, fast paced 'Veneno Y Gas', displaying a ferocious rhythm and breath taking guitar work.

Overall, rampant thrash metal, with great vocals, screaming guitars and an intensity that will have you head banging ferociously.
