Sleep Signals are a hard rock/modern rock band from the USA formed in 2013 who released their debut album in 2015 and the follow up in 2016.
Up tempo, light rock with a hard hitting edge and the new album from Sleep Signals is underway with a blast. 'Means' does the business...hard rock with a feel good vibe to it as it shakes, rattles and rolls o its way. Clean, powerful vocals working very well with the infectiousness of the music. Packing a punch 'The Harbinger' is in your face hard rock with an oh so catchy chorus. 'The Harbinger' is actually knocking on the door of the heavy metal genre, but manages just to stay outside. The feel good vibe emanating from the first two songs on this album is overwhelming and addictive.
'Digital Sleep' carries the vibe majestically and modern rock has never sounded so good. Head nodding in appreciation, Sleep Signals deliver an aural assault of power, passion and bloody good music. The band have toured relentlessly over the years and have become a very tight unit, and that tightness has transcended into the recording studio with this new album faultless in its production. A more melodic approach as 'Oceanus Borealis' comes alive, Sleep Signals show that they can deliver more than just "foot on the monitor" out and out hard rock. Bringing the album to a close is the title song 'Transitions' all buff and bluster as it rocks hard. Sleep Signals have shown enough ability in their armoury to become a force in the hard rock/modern rock genres.
Overall, hard hitting hard rock that packs a punch, every song, infectious with a feel good vibe.
