The Perfect Harmony For Doomsday |
||||||
Skull Pin are a heavy metal band from the USA, who are influenced by legendary bands Iron Maiden, Metallica and Pantera.
Opening song 'Lost Time' rattles into life with a heavy aggressive rhythm that just pounds your senses. 'Steem' is much more raw sounding, nodding its head to the sound of doom metal to create a unique chugging rhythm guaranteed to get your head nodding violently.
'Confessor' continues with the rawness heard in 'Steem', 'Under The Knife' comes at you through an acoustic intro, followed by a trademark metal scream, before it assumes a heavy as hell rhythm. 'Self Ruin' ups the tempo and is relentless as it charges to its end.
The curiously titled '12 oz Sacrifice' is another slower song full of aggression while 'Sick Of You' is a hard edged, raw stained brain rattling song. The album closes with the up tempo romp 'The Blind'.
Overall, an album full of raw aggression and heavy riffs that will pound your senses and violently bang your head.
