Force Ethics

Shock Wave are a thrash metal band from Spain, originally forming in 1987, remaining active 'til 1992, at which time each band member went their separate ways. Founding member JC Insekkton re-launched the band in 2020 with a new line-up, releasing the five song E.P. 'The Omega Communion' later the same year. Signing to Xtreem Music, Shock Wave released their first full length album 'Force Ethics' in 2021.

Featuring eleven songs in under forty minutes, Shock Wave hurtle, speed, and scream their way across the land, spreading shock and awe wherever they may roam. For the aggressive nature op the band's sound is off the scale, with the scowling vocals wreaking havoc with the ears! Opening the album is the high velocity rampage 'Immune To Voodoo' - a blistering tornado of fast paced thrash. Fierce and fiery, 'Immune To Voodoo' is one helluva explosive opening, followed by more explosions, as 'From Nothingness To Misery' ignites an already burning fire! The aggressive nature is in your face, the scowling vocals menacing, and Shock Wave's opening attack is ferocious. 'Endless Ammunition' glides in on the crest of a short menacing passage, coming to life with fire and brimstone, destroying everything and everyone in its path. The ferocity with which Shock Wave have introduced themselves to the world is incredible.

And with no let up in the ferocious pace, the band power on with 'Second To None' - a meld of thrash and traditional metal. The fiery vocals remain though, as Shock Wave show a more "heavy metal" vibe than they have so far. After a quirky beginning, 'Never Unplugged' ploughs forth with thunder and the blistering pace of earlier - thrash metal definitely back on the menu! With an upturn in pace, tempo, and intensity, 'Vegan Predator' runs amok, wreaking havoc with devastating precision. The scowling vocals are as menacing as ever, the searing fire burning hotter than ever, and Shock Wave are beginning to send shock waves around the world. The intriguingly titled 'Fabulous X-25 Thunder Lion Attack' is a speedy thrasher that will have necks at breaking point, as heads vigorously nod back and forth in a vain attempt to keep up with the scorching pace.

Powering into the final third, Shock Wave keep the energy and intensity at an all time high with 'T.T.H.S.' - an instrumental full of twists and turns and rolling riffs. 'Rubbish Under The Carpet' is a menacing romp of belligerent thrash metal, delivered at high velocity with a one hundred percent aggression level. Since the album began the up front and in your face attitude has been full on, not relenting for a second - until now! 'Marble Skin' is a mellow, almost ballad like meander, totally different to everything that has gone before. Building the tension, 'Marble Skin' is a sinister stroll, wandering away from its opening ballad like tendencies - and no out and out pace either, But pace does return for the albums final hurrah - the blistering speedster 'Anger Is For Amateurs'. With its menacing and sinister attitude returned to normal, the album, and 'Anger Is For Amateurs' ploughs on at high speed to an explosive end.

Overall, a thundering rampage of high velocity, aggressive, and in your face thrash metal with scowling vocals and a menacing attitude.
