Bury The Ghosts E.P.

Sertraline are an alternative metal & rock band from the UK formed in 2014 who released their debut E.P. 'Bury The Ghosts' in 2015.

'Dead Set' opens the E.P. in a burst of raw energy, buzzsaw riffing, very strong vocals and a chugging rhythm that is both a foot stomp and infectious. With hints of aggression 'Dead Set' is a blast of attitude and angst ridden hard rock. With an increase in tempo and intensity 'Not Enough' storms in and is as rampant as a rabbit as it scurries and darts its way through thundering drums, razor sharp guitars and a pulsating, yet catchy rhythm. Capturing the admiration of a growing fan base through their energetic and passionate live shows, the band have managed to get that vibe onto recorded studio work too. 'Mean To Me' is an excellent example of this as it romps along displaying the hardest and sharpest edge of hard rock at its most passionate.

Slowing the pace for a moment is 'Colours' with an acoustic intro, soulful vocals and the right time to raise your lighters in the air. The vocals soar, not symphonic but almost operatic over a fusion of soft and hard rock. 'Set The World Alight' is raucous, raw and another hard edged hard rock romp. Foot stompingly and head bangingly infectious, with a catchy chorus 'Set The World Alight' might just do what it says! All too soon though, the E.P. comes to an end leaving you wanting much more ... but for now 'All Choked Up' leaves you with more attitude laden, raucous hard rock.

Overall, energetic, raucous and above all passionate, Sertraline deliver their own blend of hard edged, infectious hard rock.
