Parasites And Poets

Seneron are a three piece punk rock band from the UK, who cite the likes of Foo Fighters, Green Day and Nirvana as their main influences. Following the success of their debut E.P. of last year, Seneron now release their first full length album, 'Parasites And Poets'.

'Don't Cave In' opens the album with a blast of energy, big riffs and a catchy rhythm. The unique brash, bar room sound first heard on their E.P. is revived here as the album storms on with 'Talk The Walk'. Close your eyes and you can almost smell the beer and sweat as the crowd foot stomps and sings along to every word. Hard edged rock with catchy hooks and memorable lyrics, Seneron deliver high energy, feel good songs. 'Breathe' is a mid to high tempo romp of big riffs and pounding rhythms, with 'Big Deep' a sleazy, dirty, foot tapping solid rock song.

The vocals range from clean to a gravel rasp and are so suited to this type of pub rock and 'What A Way To Go' is no exception. Full of energy and passion, it is a mean sounding high tempo song that rocks and rolls its way through some awesome guitar work and a thunderous, unrelenting rhythm. With a catchy sing a long chorus this is a must to become a crowd favourite. 'It All Ends Here' is another dirty, classic sounding pub rock song, 'Freak Show' is a mid tempo, huge riffing, excellent thunderous stomp and the album ends with the outstanding, high tempo 'Outbound' displaying all the strengths that this band have.

Overall, hard edged and full of energy, this debut album is stacked with high tempo, foot tapping, catchy rock songs.
