Salems Lott are a shock metal & rock band from the USA formed in 2013 who, in 2015, released their debt E.P.    
             
Taking their influence from great bands of shock rock/metal such as Alice Cooper, W.A.S.P. and Motley Crue, Salems Lott have created a high energy, passionate and forceful sound that exudes authority. Opening the E.P. is the raucous 'Wings Of Duress'. Very much a guitar driven song, it is hard edged hard rock at its bombastic best. 'No Chance To Love' has a much heavier groove and an anthemic chorus that will be chanted by all in a live arena. 'Smoke And Mirrors' picks up the pace and has the energy levels of the late eighties glam metal movement, spearheaded by the likes of Ratt, Slaughter, Cinderella and Skid Row.    
             
'Atlas' serves as an instrumental intro to the mid tempo stomp of 'Black Magic' as it chops and cuts its way through riff after riff until a blistering change of pace sees it blast off like a rocket. Raging guitars and thunderous drums abound and then subside back to the mid tempo stomp it started with. By a country mile, the best song on the E.P. is 'S.S. (Sonic Shock)' which has electrifying pace and power. 'S.S. (Sonic Shock) is rampant and has traits of thrash metal about it too.    
             
Overall, raucous, rampant and full of energy, Salems Lott play hard edged, hard rock, that will have you stomping your feet.
