High Voltage Thrash |
||||||
Rusted Brain are a thrash metal band from Poland, releasing their first full length album, 'High Voltage Thrash', in 2013.
Influenced by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Municipal Waste and Testament (and many other great thrash bands) you would be expecting an album of pure thrash metal. And that is exactly what you get here.
'Caught In The Fire' comes at you like a runaway train, rattling along at high speed with a thunderous rhythm. 'Bloodpath' is classic heavy thrash metal with a great guitar riff, followed in the same style by 'Waiting For Death' and 'Juggler', a 2 minute barn stormer of a song.
'Terror Zone' displays traits of Slayer, while 'Executor' uses dramatic time changes to create a furiously heavy song. 'High Voltage Drunk' has a dark, moody intro that soon gives way to the power and pace of pure thrash metal, while closing song 'Burn 'Em' finishes the album off in blistering style.
Overall, if you like your thrash metal fast, thunderous and furious, then this is the album for you.
