| Risingfall are a heavy metal band from Japan forming in 2014, releasing the three song demo 'Prologue' in 2017. The live album 'Tokyo Metal Fire (Live In Tokyo)' emerged later the same year, with the three song E.P. 'Cry For The Steel', a 2018 release. The band released a second E.P. 'Arise From The Ashes' in 2019. | ||||||
| 2021 sees Risingfall release a new single 'Rock Fantasy', from their debut studio album - release date yet to be confirmed. | ||||||
| Risingfall relax the speed metal pace of their 2019 E.P. 'Cry For The Steel', in favour of a much more old school NWOBHM feel. Think bands such as Samson and Raven, and the whole early eighties NWOBHM explosion. 'Rock Fantasy' is mid tempo, "foot on the monitor" fare, with a distinctly British feel about it. | ||||||
| 'Rock Fantasy' is backed with 'Far Britannia' - first released as a single in 2017 - which continues the old school British feel. 'Far Britannia' solidifies the NWOBHM flavour that Risingfall exude with this single release. | ||||||
| Overall, a cracking eighties NWOBHM sounding single - mid tempo with a major foot on the monitor feel. | ||||||
