Prince Of The Tribes

Reinforcer are a power metal band from Germany formed in 2015 releasing their debut E.P. 'The Wanderer' in 2018. The bands first full length album 'Prince Of The Tribes' was released in 2021.

Hailing from the hotbed of heavy metal that is Germany, Reinforcer are the latest in a long line of bands to continue the country's amazing legacy! For over four decades Germany have been an incredible production line for so many of metals greatest bands... And the production line shows no sign of slowing down! One of the countries more recent bands, Reinforcer, thunders into sight with their debut album, kicking off with the title song 'Prince Of The Tribes'. With an epic edged feel, 'Prince Of The Tribes' (the song) is mid tempo melodic metal with a rather heavier edge than you'd normally expect. Reinforcer are up and running, and re-enforcing their status as one of the new breed of metal bands to emerge from Germany.

'Allegiance And Steel' maintains a quicker pace than the album opener, adopting the classic gallop of traditional heavy metal, allowing for some proper head banging. The infectious and highly melodic nature of the opening double is gonna gain instant likes - and attract many new fans. The pace remains high for 'Black Sails', as it runs the gamut of classic European power metal. 'Black Sails' is everything you'd expect from power metal - pace, power, and an infectious sing along able chorus. Adopting a more mid tempo heavy hitting stance, 'Shieldmaiden' lands fairly and squarely in the epic and glory genres of metal, adopting the anthemic style over the chorus. Think HammerFall, Manowar, Powerwolf, and Sabaton. Pace makes an immediate return to the album, with the all out, balls out, galloping 'Coup De Grace'. Power metal and traditional metal combine perfectly as 'Coup De Grace' races on to a finish - with a chorus that's gonna be lapped up by a live audience. What an in concert moment that's gonna be!

Oh man, the iconic sound of the NWOBHM still gives me goose bumps now, even after forty years since its evolution, courtesy of bands such as Angel Witch, Iron Maiden, and Raven. And that iconic sound features highly as 'Thou Shall Burn' races out of the blocks - the "foot on the monitor" vibe sky high. Slowing the pace down to mid tempo, for about half a minute... 'Hand On Heart' shows a clean pair of heels as it storms on, becoming the fastest song heard on the album so far. Reinforcer are showing their prowess at blending the power metal, and traditional metal styles to great effect. The intensity of the album has not relented for one second, the sound of metal appearing in abundance all the way, with 'Another Night' now carrying the baton. Pace, power, and a high infectious level, 'Another Night' is both addictive and attractive. The final song on the album, is the intriguingly titled 'Z32'...a mid tempo march through the genres of epic, glory, and anthemic metal. And even though the album ends at probably the slowest pace it's been, the intensity is still very high.

Overall, pace and power combine with a major melodious intent to deliver a highly infectious and addictive album.
