Star Spangled Fist Fight

Kickin Valentina are a hard rock band from the USA formed in 2013, releasing four albums to date - 'Super Atomic' (2015), 'Imaginary Creatures' (2017), 'The Revenge Of Rock' (2021), and 'Star Spangled Fist Fight' (2024)...

...featuring the bands trademark loud and unapologetic brand of hard hitting sleaze rock! And with their new album 'Star Spangled Fist Fight', Kickin Valentina are raucous and rowdy to the max, firing ten highly infectious and overly catchy anthems at listeners - listeners who've been waiting three years for the follow-up to the anthemic belter 'The Revenge Of Rock'. So strap in, return your tray table back to its upright position, and party with me as the band take off with 'Gettin Off', a thundering heavy hitter destined to knock seven bells outta every listener everywhere! The weighty rock avalanche is overwhelming, Kickin Valentina kicking down doors and smashing furniture like it's the nineteen eighties all over again, when throwing TV's out of hotel windows was the ultimate hard rock high!

The energy oozing out of the album opener is incredible, the band upping the ante with the bolder, more brash 'Dirty Rhythm', and slight touches of the legendary AC/DC boogie and the immense Aerosmith swagger rise high in the air. Kickin Valentina are on fucking fire, serving up a double dose of bombastic hard rock that's gonna have every listener, fan and follower smiling from ear to ear - smiles that are only gonna get wider, 'Star Spangled Fist Fight' storming on with the feisty 'Fire Back'. And a blistering turn of speed too, the band rocking the hardest since the album began! And yes I know we're only three songs in, but each one has been harder rocking than the last, the American four-piece firing on all cylinders as 'Man On A Mission' strides into sight, the energy level rising right through the fucking roof! 'Man On A Mission' is a foot stomping thunderstorm, shuddering the ground with a pulsating sonic barrage - everyone and everything standing in its way succumbing to the bands phenomenal display of hard rock!

Kickin Valentina are in top gear right now, delivering an exhilarating brand of heavy hitting hard rock, 'Turn Me Loose' entering the fray, bringing with it a sprinkling of melodic rock and AOR - the band roaring round rock territory to cover everybody with a wide array of styles! An array that's wider than the Grand Canyon - and just as rocky too, the energy level rising higher than ever as 'Star Spangled Fist Fight' canters on with 'Died Laughing'. The intensity since the album began has been firmly on point, the band striding tall and very proud, keeping listeners hooked with an irresistible range of songs - and there's still four more to come! The first of which 'Takin' A Ride', is more bullish and nineties sounding than anything heard so far, 'Takin' A Ride' punching much harder too! The bombastic oomph of 'Takin' A Ride' is all consuming with every "gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse" on the fucking planet crumbling under the sheer weight on show!

I tell ya readers, this album has just gotten better and better, and continues to do so with the aural excellence of the fastest rocker on offer - 'Amsterdam'. Rocking and rolling faster than a four kilo round of Double Gloucester down Cooper's Hill during the world-famous annual "Cooper's Hill Cheese Rolling And Wake" event in Gloucestershire (UK), 'Amsterdam' is even gonna attract metallers into Kickin Valentina's soundscape to have one hell of a crazy time! A crazy time that ain't over just yet, 'Ride Or Die' keeping the pedal pressed firmly to the metal, roaring down the freeway without a single care in the world. 'Ride Or Die' is a superb driving anthem, one of those amazing songs that deserves to be played loud when on a cross country drive - so open those windows wide, turn the volume way up and rock out to 'Ride Or Die'. Kickin Valentina bring their new album to a close with the title song 'Star Spangled Fist Fight', ending the album the same way as it began - with an overwhelming avalanche of weighty hard rock to knock seven more bells outta every listener!

Overall, a highly energetic and immensely infectious slab of heavy hitting hard come sleaze come party rock, 'Star Spangled Fist Fight' is an anthemic belter.
