Crucified |

Jizzy Pearl is a solo rock artist from the USA and is the frontman for Love/Hate, a successful hard rock band formed in 1985, achieving most of their success during the early nineties. Jizzy Pearl, after pursuing other interests over recent years, is back with a new six song mini album, 'Crucified'.
Crucified opens in barn storming style with 'Hanging You Out To Dry', the first single off the album. It is foot stomping hard rock at its best with an awesome guitar riff and very catchy rhythm.
'Sunny Day' is a solid rock song full of chugging riffs and a wide ranging vocal performance from Jizzy. Very much like Love/Hate from the nineties, it is catchy, it is foot stomping, yet modern, confirming that Jizzy is not living in past glories but looking forward to new horizons. 'You're Making Me Nervous' is very much a guitar driven song, with a very good vocal performance.
Acoustic guitars introduce 'I Don't Want To Be Your Baby', a ballad full of lighters in the air moments, hands waving and great vocals. 'Love Is All' is the nearest Jizzy gets to the Love/Hate sound of the nineties, with album closer 'Too Late' a cracking chill out song, the kind of song that you play when you want to relax.
Overall, Jizzy Pearl returns to the hard rock arena with a bang. Solid, foot tapping rock at its finest.
