Jeremy Ross Lawler is a professional musician, founder and former member of the UK progressive metal band Winter's Edge, and now, a solo artist. His first release is the single 'Last To Fall'.    
             
Leaving Winter's Edge in the summer of 2019, Jeremy has wasted little time in forging his new career as a solo artist. Working with musicians from all around the world (see below for a full list) the musical vision of Jeremy, is to continue the story telling he wrote as a member of Winter's Edge, and deliver it in the same epic, and climactic style.    
             
Lyrically, 'Last To Fall' is the start of a fictional story about Lucifer losing his place in heaven and being cast out onto Earth where he tries to find a way back, as the years pass by. Musically, 'Last To Fall' is an epic seven minutes in length, and if I had to pigeon hole it into just one genre, it would definitely be the progressive metal genre. It is majestic, cinematic, tension filled and atmospheric - everything that you'd expect from the song writing repertoire of Jeremy.    
             
This song will be part of an album 'The Last To Fall' (release date as yet unknown) which will be a prequel to the 2014 Winter's Edge album 'The Ferryman's Eyes'.    
             
Overall, an atmospheric and tension filled journey, 'Last To Fall' sets the scene of what to expect, both lyrically and musically, from the upcoming album.
