Enabler E.P.

I The Deceiver are a thrash metal/hardcore band from the UK who released their debut E.P. in December 2014.

Imagine if you will, the groove of Pantera, the hard hitting stomp of Anthrax and the brutality of Slayer ... and you have I The Deceiver. The opening riff to '21 Grams' sets the tone for this E.P. as it chugs into life, the vocals kick in like a really pissed off Phil Anselmo (Pantera) with an attitude issue and the song maintains a brutal attitude throughout, as it winds its way through some fantastic guitar work and thunderous drums.

"I Don't Give A Fuck About You" is the opening line to 'Buying Into A Sell Out' and confirms the blunt, bombastic, attitude of this E.P. A foot stomping heavy groove that will have the mosh pit in a frenzy, is accompanied by some ferocious vocals, a rampant guitar solo and a hint of the industrial hardcore sound that is Fear Factory. The pace is upped as 'Chain Smoker' sets off in blaze of very heavy guitar grooves with no let up as it romps and stomps its way through a quite catchy chorus and a screaming guitar solo.

A slow, screeching groove brings 'This Is My Design' to life as it rages on, meandering its way through dramatic changes in guitar sound and tempo with rhythms that pound and pound at the senses.

Overall, aggression fuelled, brutal and attitude laden, this E.P. is worthy of a mention in the same breath as "Vulgar Display Of Power" (Pantera).
