Infestation are a thrash metal band from Germany formed in 2021 releasing their debut album 'The Vermin Within' in 2023...    
             
...featuring thirteen incredibly fast paced thrash metal anthems! The band are in ferocious form, bringing the brutality of legendary thrashers Kreator and Slayer to the fore - and then adding tonnes more! Lots more! So prepare for the battering of a lifetime readers, Infestation are about to infect your world with a roaring barrage of red hot thrash - 'Infernal Anthem' a minute and a half crescendo building, tension fuelled instrumental that grabs your attention in a vice like grip, the album exploding into life with the self titled 'Infestation'. Blistering speed, guitar shredding, and rough, tough vocals greet listeners as the band roar loudly, 'Infestation' ripping the airways to pieces with total ferocity!    
             
And ferocity is very much in the ascendancy as 'The Vermin Within' storms on with the faster paced 'Executioner' - yes readers, faster paced! The speed Infestation have begun the album with is out of this world, every metalhead around the world rocking their heads back and forth at an extremely high rate of knots. I'm hoping you've all got flexible neck muscles, cause this is gonna be one helluva workout, the band keeping the incredible momentum flowing with 'I.N.F.E.S.T.A.T.O.R'. Momentum which is simply gathering pace as each song goes roaring by - and when I say roaring, I mean like a rocket blasting off! The phenomenal energy, power and force needed to send a rocket into space pales into comparison to what's on offer here - 'Kill The Traitor' speedier than everything heard so far! I tell ya readers, the speed is faster than the speed of light, the German outfit blazing a fiery trail across the land, the sky, and all the way to outer space!    
             
The terrifically titled (and rhyming) '1 2 Fuck You' is a bold and brash, pace changing groove metal instrumental that shudders the ground for all of its fifty five second run time, the band easing off the accelerator for just a moment - pushing firmly back down as '1 2 Fuck You' passes the half way mark! And the foot is well and truly keeping the pedal to the metal as the title song 'The Vermin Within' lurches forth with more purpose and urgency than heard previously! Infestation are more than just on fire, they're incinerating everything standing in their way with extreme prejudice - nothing and no-one is safe from the brutal onslaught unfolding here! Even if the Big 4 and Teutonic Four combined all their might, I doubt it'd be as savage as what's emanating from Schaumburg via the five piece thrash metal band Infestation - ravaging the land to leave only desolation in their wake!    
             
And with no sign of the albums unrelenting intensity disappearing anytime soon, 'The Vermin Within' (the album) maintains its incredible speed with 'Ravage Unleashed!' forging a ferocious path through thrash metal territory - the band taking no prisoners with a brutal barrage of head bang ability! It's simply breath taking, Infestation seemingly not knowing where the brakes are, the band motoring on with 'Use Hate', frenzied mosh pits all over the world developing circles of death - what a great fucking place that'll be! Imagine being right in the centre of one of those - totally savage! And totally worth it! The band are a non stop roller coaster of intensity and ferocity, not slowing for anything or anyone, keeping up the intense speed with the dynamic 'Death Road'. I only say dynamic cause 'Death Road' drops a gear and adopts a more "heavy metal" aura than any other song on the album - yes the rough and tough vocals remain in place, it's just that a traditional "foot on the monitor" metal feel rises high in the air.    
             
A feel that doesn't last for too long though, Infestation returning their thrash metal roots to the fore with the red hot scorching 'Mind Of A Killer' - flying by with a massive thunder, fire and brimstone attitude! Every song on the album clocks in at under four minutes in length, paving the way for a fast, very fast, near lightning quick rampage! A rampage that ain't over yet - there's still two more songs to go! 'Warzone' accelerates outta the blocks like a jet fighter racing off to war, carrying just as much devastation as the entire payload of weapons onboard, Infestation a ferocity fuelled, menacing metal machine with only one mission objective - to deliver high velocity, head bang-able thrash! And in the shape of debut album 'The Vermin Within' - mission accomplished! A mission that comes to an end with the shortest song on offer, 'Bierpartei' - translates to Beer Party. And not that kind of beer party - a political party! Now I don't do politics in any way, shape or form, so feel free to do your own research to understand Beer Parties - 'Bierpartei' ending the album in a blazing display of power and speed!    
             
Overall, a phenomenally fast paced album of savage thrash metal with incredibly high levels of intensity and head bang ability.
