Fealty To None

Heathen Kings are a heavy metal band from the UK formed in 2020, releasing their debut album 'Fealty To None' in 2023...

...preceded by three single releases - 'In The Hall Of The Kings', 'A Song For Denethor', and 'The Heart Of The Mountain Horde' - the band developing their sound into an elegant roar, highly traditional sounding with an immense infectious level. The bands debut album is ten songs and forty minutes of "foot on the monitor" heavy metal to get the blood pumping and raise clenched fists in the air to - 'In The Hall Of The Kings' a bold, beefy march of mid tempo thunder, proceeding to pound the ground hard with an anthemic feel that echoes the British, European, and American styles of metal!

The title song 'Fealty To None', picks up the pace and oozes with energetic fervour, firmly planting one foot on the monitor, with the other steadfastly rooted in traditional heavy metal - the band echoing perfectly a forty year old sound! A forty year old sound the likes of Iron Maiden and Saxon are masters of - Heathen Kings the young pretenders seeking their crown! And who's to say they won't claim it? With more menace than either of the two previous songs, 'I Am The Hammer' is positively thunderous as it strides forwards - hustling and bustling yet with an immense melodic edge. And with the album now well underway, the smell of traditional heavy metal is stronger than ever, 'England Expects' marching on with all the pomp of the eighties, the iconic sound of the legendary NWOBHM evolution rising high in the air. Heathen Kings are a hundred percent British, proudly flying the British flag, and keeping Britain well and truly on the world metal map.

And with 'The Pass Of Cirith Ungol' setting an anticipation and tension loaded thirty second intro to 'She's Alive', the band rocket on at incredible speed, banging heads harder than ever before. 'She's Alive' is a metal gallop in all its glory, with listeners, fans and followers raising fists high in the air to salute a slice of pure and unabashed British heavy metal! And with songs like 'The Heart Of The Mountain Horde' simply reinforcing the bands British tag, Heathen Kings are most assuredly one of Britain's rising metal stars, with the world the bands oyster! The mid tempo swagger of 'The Heart Of The Mountain Horde' is regal in nature, oozing a majesty not heard since the album began.

'Flight Of The Intruder' sees the return of thundering pace, along with the famous foot on the monitor gallop, the band roaring louder than ever! The intensity level 'Fealty To None' (the album) began with, has remained consistently high, the momentum well and truly rolling in unstoppable fashion! The band too - are seemingly unstoppable, storming on with the heavy hitting 'Warriors Choice', and the return of the bustling style of metal. Heathen Kings have built upon what they achieved with the three single releases, maturing and gaining experience to become a well oiled and proficient metal outfit more than capable of taking on the "big boys of metal". Bringing the album to a close 'A Song For Denethor' is an up tempo traditional heavy metal romp, cementing the bands reputation as one of the rising stars of British metal, and one to keep an eye on - and an ear open for the future.

Overall, an album packed with traditional heavy metal anthems, highly infectious with a sky high level of head bang ability.
