As Dawn Bleeds The Sky |
||||||
Gorefield are a thrash metal band from Australia formed in 2011.
A short acoustic intro leads into the storming opening song 'Embers', full of pace, great riffs and great vocals.
'Love Thy Enemy' has a raw, brutal yet energetic feel to it. 'Those Who Say Never' picks up the pace and rattles along, yet still manages to retain a catchy rhythm.
'Apathy' has pace, brutality and great guitar work, 'Playing With Fire' is a brutal heavy metal song with both pace and power while 'End Of The Night' is a heavy metal romp.
Final song 'As Dawn Bleeds The Sky' initially takes a departure from the sound of the rest of the album. It has a slow almost ballad-like intro eventually coming alive and storming to a furious finish.
Overall, an album full of brutal, aggressive heavy metal with plenty of pace and power to keep your head banging for a long time.
