Vigilante Crusaders

Ghetto Ghouls are a thrash metal band from Norway formed in 2018, releasing the bands debut album 'Vigilante Crusaders' in 2024...

...based on some of the great vigilante movies from the nineteen eighties! Ghetto Ghouls are an abrasive blend of thrash, hardcore and punk, the bands new album a ferocity driven thirty minutes featuring eight songs - 'Blizzard Of Death' immediately into its stride, hurtling across the skies at a tremendous rate of knots, the band blazing a fiery trail of menace and aggression! A stunning opening salvo to take your breath away, 'Blizzard Of Death' is gonna bang heads hard right from the very start, every listener everywhere grinning from ear to ear with one of the biggest smiles you've ever seen! And the searing pace is maintained by 'Toxic Crack', Ghetto Ghouls firing on all cylinders to deliver a rampant brace at phenomenal pace to test the head banging skills of every single thrasher on the planet...

...the band beginning their album with a barnstorming barrage of brutality, the Norwegian thrashers powering on with even more speed than the previous two songs put together, 'Dead Behind Bars' breaking the sound barrier as it scorches the earth with devastating precision - the Trondheim thrash metal band taking no prisoners with a vicious array of sharp edged savagery! And bringing a touch of groove and traditional metal to the fore, 'Savage Streets' exhibits a black album era Metallica guitar sound, Ghetto Ghouls pounding the ground hard with an almighty thunder stomp heavy enough to knock planet Earth of its fucking axis! The band have been unstoppable since 'Vigilante Crusaders' began, the band steam rollering over everything and everyone in their path, the unforgiving thrash metal machine marching on with unabashed aggression and eye popping speed...

...as 'Naked Vengeance' enters the fray to break bones, snap necks and crush skulls! The band are brutal here, destroying everything around them with an unfettered blend of ferocity and barbarity - Ghetto Ghouls no way near yet finished either, the album's only just passed the half way mark! And with just as much menace and aggression too, 'Wasting Street Scum' maintaining 'Vigilante Crusader's all conquering, all consuming head bang ability - every thrasher, metaller and mosher around the world frantically rocking their heads back and forth in order to just keep up with the band! Good luck with that then, for the band have no upper speed limit and plenty of fuel to burn...

...fuel that's burning hot to trot, producing enough thrust to blast a rocket into fucking space! I can't stress just how fast the band and album are, but I'm gonna have a go anyway. Imagine a hundred metre sprint between the speed of light and Ghetto Ghouls - the speed of light would come in a distant second to the Trondheim thrashers, 'Vigilante Crusaders' storming on with the bruising 'Blastfighter', everyone everywhere feeling the brunt of the bands aggression and menace! But no-one's gonna complain or report the band to the local authorities for GBH - or even ABH, 'cause the tornado of thrash blowing outta Norway is so fucking good! There's been some ferocious thrash metal released this year - Exhorder, Solitary and BreaKdowN BKN to name just three, 'Vigilante Crusaders' standing tall and proud alongside them all! And to end the album, 'Unspeakable Terror Awaits' should be the strapline for this album, Ghetto Ghouls delivering a terrifying array of thrash to leave their army of fans speechless, 'Unspeakable Terror Awaits' actually the slowest song on offer! Yet with increased levels of menace, fear and a thunderous ground shuddering foot stomp, the band end 'Vigilante Crusaders' in barbaric style!

Overall, a blistering rampage of ferocious thrash metal delivered at speed with aggression, menace and a sky high level of head bang ability.
