The World Is Mine

(single)

Fury are a heavy metal band from the UK formed in 2010, releasing two E.P.'s within the first two years after formation - 'Fury' (2011) and 'Burn The Earth' (2012). The bands first full length album 'The Lightning Dream' emerged in 2014, with their sophomore album 'Lost In Space' a 2016 release. The bands third album 'The Grand Prize' is set for release in 2020, with the single 'The World Is Mine' out now.

Fury are among a new breed of heavy metal bands formed over the last decade that have made the move to take over the role as ambassadors for British heavy metal - a role that has been occupied for the last forty years by the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Saxon. These "old guard" bands are not gonna be around forever, so it is up to Fury, and bands such as Amulet, Monument, Absolva and Seven Sisters to take the might of British heavy metal, and conquer the world.

The bands new single 'The World Is Mine', could be seen as a bold prophecy, for the world could be theirs, as we head into, what is likely to be the last decade for many of Britain's longest serving heavy metal ambassadors. The actual lyrical theme of 'The World Is Mine' is about "winning, and doing whatever it takes to be the best" - so in real terms, Fury have the world at their feet, and the world is there for the taking.

Musically, 'The World Is Mine' opens in a blaze of crunching guitars, melodically marching forward, proceeding to gather pace to become an all out head banger. The pace is electrifying, and fans will risk ripping neck muscles as they try to keep their heads moving as fast as the music.

Overall, Fury deliver a furious blast of old school, and very traditional heavy metal sounding appetiser for their upcoming new album.
