Dead Nation Army E.P.

Enemynside are a thrash metal band from Italy, forming in 1994 as Scapegoat, changing their name to Enemynside in 1999, releasing their debut album 'Let The Madness Begin...', in 2003. The follow up album 'In The Middle Of Nowhere', emerged in 2007 with their third album 'Whatever Comes', released in 2012. The band went on a period of hiatus, re-emerging in 2017 playing live gigs with Destruction and Behemoth. Currently working on a fourth album, the band are set to release the four song E.P. 'Dead Nation Army' early in 2018.

Hailing from a country more famed for power metal than thrash metal, Enemynside deliver a rampant and raucous brand of high velocity thrash. The bands new E.P. is quickly into its stride, exploding into life with the thunderous 'For All The Jerks'. Running at full tilt, 'For All The Jerks' is a superb slice of thrash metal, reminiscent of the mid eighties thrash metal sound, that Metallica evolved with their 1986 release 'Master Of Puppets'. The sound of Enemynside can also be compared to other great bands from that era, such as Heathen, Flotsam And Jetsam and Death Angel. Get those neck muscles warmed up, this is gonna be one helluva ride.

Pace does not let up in the slightest as the E.P. continues its savage barrage of the airways with the blistering pace of 'Devil In Disguise'. Thunderous, pulsating and head bangingly addictive, Enemynside are delivering a breath taking performance of full on thrash metal to excite the senses of fans everywhere. Introducing a more heavy metal influence, 'Buried Past' is a solid slab of hard hitting and punchy thrash. Pounding hard, 'Buried Past' is a thunderous thrash metal assault.

With four songs on offer, and a fourth album looking likely, Enemynside have returned from their hiatus more hungry, more passionate and more thrash metal than ever. 'Dead Nation Army' E.P. is gonna set the worldwide thrash metal scene alight. 'Involution Revolution' brings an end to fifteen minutes of breath taking thrash metal, in an explosive and furious finale. Enemynside are a band to look out for in 2018, and should a fourth album come forth, I for one will be at the front of the queue to get a copy.

Overall, a high paced and energetic rampage of full on thrash metal delivered at a blistering pace that will set the worldwide thrash metal scene on fire.
