Cruel Bomb are a thrash metal band from the USA formed in 2018, releasing their debut E.P. 'Manhattan Mischief' in 2019, and their second E.P. 'Trinity Terror' in 2020.    
             
Featuring a fast paced and aggressive style of thrash metal, Cruel Bomb deliver a Slayer-like avalanche of aural angst and anger fuelled ferocity. The four songs on offer fly past in a little under fifteen minutes, with violent head banging and maniacal moshing the order of the day. The E.P. begins with 'The End', a fierce barrage of brutality. Many bands have tried to copy the iconic Slayer sound, a lot coming close but none have ever emulated the thrash metal giants - yet in only their second year, Cruel Bomb come perilously close...    
             
...the menacing and raw stomp of 'The End' dragging its knuckles across concrete as it proceeds to deliver a savage assault. 'Fight Or Flight' ups the ante, changing the sound from American thrashers Slayer, to the Dutch thrashers Project Pain, another thrash metal band that have tried very hard to copy the Slayer sound. 'Fight Or Flight' is actually the most melodic thrash metal offering on the E.P. And then boy oh boy, electrifying pace takes over with incredible speed - 'Teeth Grinder' is a high velocity, high powered savage barrage of relentless energy. The chant style chorus "grind my teeth!" is gonna be growled by everyone, everywhere.    
             
And if you thought that was aggressive, just take a listen to the final song 'Atomic Demolition Munition'. The title suggests destruction on a massive scale - and that's exactly what you get. Buildings are in danger of devastation as 'Atomic Demolition Munition' motors by at high speed, to leave only desolation behind.    
             
Overall, a breath taking barrage of savage thrash metal to give your neck muscles a severe workout as your head nods back and forth at an extremely high rate.
