Circle Of Time |

Coffeinne are a melodic metal band from Spain formed in 2015, releasing their debut album 'Circle Of Time' in 2016 to the Spanish and Japanese markets only. Summer 2017 will see the re-release of the album to a worldwide market via Fighter Records.
Oozing energy and bombast, 'Fragile' opens the album with a hard rocking kick, that will get your heads nodding, feet stomping and create a smile a mile wide. Clean, clear and very powerful vocals accompany an insanely addictive rhythm as 'Fragile' storms along. Addictiveness is doubled with 'Fallen Angel' taking on a more melodic feel, with a pulsating rhythm to keep that smile on your face open wide. As hard rock albums go, the opening double salvo is very impressive, whetting the appetite for what is to come. 'Take This Life' takes on a more blunt approach and arrogantly kicks and punches its way forward. Every now and again, along comes an absolute corker of a song that ticks all the boxes and leaves you in a state of euphoria...'Isolated' is one of those songs. The rhythm, the groove, the pace and the sing a long ability all adds up to 'Isolated' as a feel good song that will lighten even the darkest mood. The album is worth the purchase price for this one song alone...
Bringing a more atmospheric vibe to the album, 'Life In A Showcase' is an elegant stroll of melodic hard rock. Involuntarily foot tapping is the order of the day here as 'Life In A Showcase' struts its stuff. Throughout the album, Coffeinne have managed to infuse every song with the ability for the listener to sing a long and smile insanely. 'Save Me' returns the album to the earlier blunt and arrogant feel, with a thunderous rhythm and its foot stomping attitude, yet it still retains the infectious and smile inducing nature of every other song on the album. Majestic and striding tall, 'Broken' is melodic hard rock at its finest. Mid tempo and a mild thundering rhythm, 'Broken' touches, but doesn't break, the power ballad borders.
With a dramatic increase in pace, akin to the speed/power metal genre, 'No Escape' romps along, smashing its way through the airways and may actually induce head banging. With a mild touch of ferocity, 'No Escape' is a raging storm of riffs and thunderous drumming. The brutality of the opening to 'The Hate Within' doesn't last for long, with the Coffeinne signature sound soon taking over. Hard hitting melodic hard rock is the sound to associate with this band, and boy they have it in abundance. Every song is addictive and, unusually for a hard rock album, there is no ballad present... The album is brought to a close with the title song 'Circle Of Time', a six minutes plus epic of majestic and anthemic proportions. Add this album to your playlist and there it will remain for a very long time.
Overall, punchy and addictive hard rock with top notch sing a long ability with an infectious and addictive feel that will keep you smiling from start to finish.
