BACK:N:BLACK are an all girl tribute to AC/DC based in Switzerland. The band burst onto the hard rock scene in 2010, quickly growing in demand throughout the world. The bands reputation is based around their energetic and passion fuelled live shows, as well as their unrivalled crowd connections. The band has played at music festivals all over Europe including performances at the 2012 Rock Oz Arenes, alongside such big name acts as ZZ Top, Alice Cooper, and Gotthard, four years in a row at the Verbier Bike Fest in their home country of Switzerland, and headlined Bon Fest in Scotland on three occasions - 2014, 2016 and 2019.
BACK:N:BLACK perform both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of AC/DC, performing some of the bands biggest hits such as 'Highway To Hell', 'Let There Be Rock' and 'For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)', as well as lesser known gems like 'Giving The Dog A Bone' and 'Go Down'. The band have released a number of live concert DVD's including 'Live Voltage' and the DVD plus CD set 'No Static'. In 2018 the band toured the UK, and filmed their sold out show at O'Rileys live music venue in Hull - for the live concert DVD 'Highway To Hull'.
BACK:N:BLACK played for two hours, belting out AC/DC classics such as 'Whole Lotta Rosie', 'T.N.T.', 'High Voltage', 'Back In Black', 'Thunderstruck', and of course 'Highway To Hell'. The girls don't pretend to be AC/DC, they just play AC/DC the only way they know how - their way. Their performance is energetic, passion driven and crowd participative...plenty of sing a longs, how you doing's and many of AC/DC's mannerisms, like spitting blood, crowd walking, and Angus Young's iconic duck walk.
BACK:N:BLACK are exciting, passionate, and dedicated. Attending one of their concerts is an electrifying experience - they play for the crowd, not for themselves. After all, the crowd is most important, as without them there would not be an audience to play to. The connection the band have with their fans is also phenomenal. There is an incredible amount of interaction on the bands social media, and for the Highway To Hull DVD, there is fan footage mixed in with the professionally shot footage. BACK:N:BLACK are a down to earth, honest band with an exceptionally high work rate, and an amazing connection with their legion of fans.
Overall, a highly energetic and electrifying performance, BACK:N:BLACK created a lively party atmosphere where everyone in attendance really enjoyed themselves.
