Do Or Die |

Amaranthe are a melodic metal band from Sweden formed in 2008, distinguishable for having three lead vocalists, with three different styles. The bands self titled debut album was released in 2011, followed by four more over a six year period - 'The Nexus' (2013), 'Massive Addictive' (2014), 'Maximalism' (2016), and 'Helix' (2018).
The band have also released numerous singles (with 2014's 'Drop Dead Cynical' their highest charting) and music videos during their career, and with their latest release, the 2020 single 'Do Or Die', the band feature a guest singer, former Arch Enemy vocalist Angela Gossow.
Lyrically, 'Do Or Die' is all about "the obvious fact that the world is literally crumbling around us - and it is crumbling fast, thanks to the short sighted abuse of our common Mother Earth" says the bands guitarist Olof Morck.
Musically, 'Do Or Die' portrays a much heavier side to Amaranthe, with the singing styles of Elize Ryd and Angela Gossow so incredibly different - Elize so clean and clear and Angela so harsh and growly.
Overall, 'Do Or Die' certainly makes you sit up and take notice, its aggressive energy driving the song forward with incredible force.
