| 2 Cards Of 25 are a hard rock band from the UK formed in 2012, who have released two singles and an E.P. to date. 2016 will see the release of 'Alice In Wonderland' (featuring Misha Nikolic) as their third single. | ||||||
| Fair play to any band that wants to experiment with their sound, but some experiments are best left in the studio. 2 Cards Of 25 are a hard rock band and introducing elements of electro-pop, dubstep and disco could be seen as betraying their roots. This reworked version of their debut single 'Alice In Wonderland' featuring veteran producer Misha Nikolic is a bold and brave move, which I admire, but for the die hard rock fan, it's a definite "WTF" moment. | ||||||
| Listen carefully and you can still detect the hard rock roots, but all the additional, diverse musical arrangements do detract from what was a very good, hard hitting debut single. I will definitely be sticking with the original version. | ||||||
| Overall, a bold and brave display of rock meets electro-pop, dubstep and disco making it an interesting and intriguing listen. | ||||||
